A cult leader's son was sentenced Friday to a minimum 120 years in prison for the slayings of four members of a family, killings he blamed on his father.

Lake County Common Pleas Judge Paul H. Mitrovich ordered that Damon Lundgren, 19, serve four consecutive 20-year-to-life sentences on aggravated murder convictions and four consecutive 10-to-25-year sentences on kidnapping convictions.Lundgren was convicted last month on four counts each of aggravated murder and kidnapping in the shooting deaths of Dennis Avery and Avery's three young daughters.

The Averys were led one by one into the barn, bound and gagged with duct tape, then shot and dumped into a common grave at a farm the cult rented in nearby Kirtland, about 30 miles east of Cleveland. Authorities found the bodies in January.

Thirteen cult members were arrested. Some have pleaded guilty to reduced charges.

Damon's father, Jeffrey Lundgren, said during his own sentencing hearing that he killed the Averys because his interpretation of Scriptures showed them to be sinners. He was sentenced to die in the electric chair.
