Naomi Atkin Jackson, age 87, died October 2, 1990 at her home in Salt Lake City.
Born May 10, 1903 in Salt Lake City to William T. and Ada Foulger Atkin. Married A. Rulon Jackson, October 20, 1926, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 3, 1967. Active in numerous church and civic positions: Stake Officer in Y.W.M.I.A., Relief Society, Primary, and Sunday School Stake Board. Pink Lady at Primary Childrens' Hospital. President of both West and East High Schools P.T.A. Member of Young Audiences, Symphony Theater Guild, Ambassador Club, and University Club.Survived by two children: Craig Jackson and wife, Roslyn, of Salt Lake City; Jeraldine J. Wood and husband, Dr. H. Kim Wood of Albany, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ada Ruth Atkin and Lois A. Jensen, both Salt Lake City; two nephews: William H. Atkin, Salt Lake City, and Richard G. Atkin, St. George.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 6th, at 12 noon, Ensign 5th Ward, 589 East 18th Avenue. Friends may call at the ward Saturday from 10 a.m. till service time. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
