Our loving husband, father, brother and son, Neal LaFarge Dastrup, 57, died peacefully October 2, 1990.
Born January 3, 1933 in Altonah, Utah to A. LaFarge and Flora Pederson Dastrup. Attended Altamont High, graduated from Snow College (Ephraim, Utah). Served in Korea during the Korean War. Graduated from Utah State University. Married Vione Pace, June 13, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. Taught school for the Duchesne School District. For the last 25 years taught in the Salt Lake School District. Active in the LDS Church. Served in various positions.Survived by wife; mother; sister, Lorraine Byron, Cypress, California; sons, Alan, West Jordan; Gary, West Valley; Roger, Whidbey Island, Washington; foster son, Robert Hole, Kearns; daughters, Sheralyn Beaver, Bennion; Mrs. Stewart (Marla) Gray, West Valley; seven grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father.

Services will be held Saturday, October 6, 1990, 1 p.m., Granger 20th Ward, 2850 West 3835 South. Friends may call Friday 7-9 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Rd. and one hour prior at the church. Interment: Hoytsville City Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Estates.
