The Human Resource Network and the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster College will hold a human resource seminar beginning Thursday, Oct. 25, and continuing for the next three Thursdays at the college, 1840 S. 1300 East.
Dr. James Seidelman, dean of the school, said the Institute for Human Resource Management is designed for entry level to mid-management professionals working in human resource areas of their companies.Subjects covered will be staffing, selection, employment law, affirmative action, direct and indirect compensation, innovations in benefit plans, performance management and appraisals, empowerment, training and development, management development and other human resource topics of the 1990s.
The instructors will be Jerry P. Nelson, president and founder of Human Resource Network; Ronald B. Cohn, professor of education at Westminster; Ron Day, vice president of Human Resource Network; Charles Ehin, Westminster professor of management.
