Former Salt Lake County Sheriff Delmar L. Larson, who was sheriff from 1967 to 1978, and Jenson, a commissioner from 1963 to 1968, joined in a reunion of former county elected officials Monday morning on the first day of a weeklong campaign to publicize services provided by county government. Entries in the County Government Week art contest are on display at the government center, at 2001 S. State, all week. The Judge Memorial Jazz Band will entertain at the government center Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and free blood pressure and vision checks will be offered there Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
