Sharon LaVon Taylor, 52, passed away peacefully, October 1, 1990, in a local hospital, following a short illness.

Born August 25, 1938, Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Vaughn H. and Ivy Morgan Taylor. Retired from U. S. West in February of this year. Active member of the L.D.S. Church, she has served faithfully over the years in many positions, including a mission to the Eastern States (1964-65), served at the Temple Square Visitor's Center for ten years and was currently serving as the assistant Stake Coordinator of Family Records extraction. Sharon enjoyed music, especially singing... she had a beautiful voice and sang for many functions. Sharon's passing will leave a great void in our lives.Survivors include her parents, Vaughn & Ivy, Salt Lake City; three sisters, Marilyn Hadley, also Salt Lake City, Patricia (& Robert T.) Marz, Ogden, and Marjorie (& Brant) Barlow, American Fork; two brothers, Howard (& Pamala) Taylor, Murray, and Leonard E. (& Sandee) Taylor, Sandy; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 5th, 12 noon, in the Stratford Ward, 2605 So. 1500 East, with Bishop Doug Stoker officiating. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the church on Friday from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
