Gloria Roylance Zerr, 67, passed away October 1, 1990, in Mt. Pleasant.
Born Los Angeles, Calif., July 10, 1923, a daughter of Leo Slack and Yva Capitolia Minnick Roylance. Married Lawrence Henry Zerr, Monte Bello, Calif., October 30, 1948. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active in the LDS Church. Filled a stake and a genealogical mission. Taught in many organizations and was especially active in genealogy work and temple work. Graduated from Central High School and the School of Dress Design in California, and attended classes at the American Institute of Banking. She studied and taught painting, and was an accomplished artist.Survived by: her husband, Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Cora Zoe Matthews, Moore, Oklahoma; son, Richard Ross Smith, LaBarge Wyo.; brother, Richard Alan Spencer, Tampa, Florida; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday Oct. 4, 1 p.m., Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake Center. Friends call at the stake center two hours prior to services. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Ursenbach Funeral Home.
