"Agency: An Opportunity and Tool for Healthy, Happy, Righteous Living," is the theme of the 1990 fall convention of the Association of Mormon Counselors and Psychotherapists.

It will be Thursday and Friday, Oct. 4-5, at the University of Utah Institute of Religion.Among the host of presenters and speakers will be Elder J. Thomas Fyans, emeritus member of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The public is invited to attend workshops in such areas as co-dependency and the dysfunctional family; eating disorders; and how religious beliefs affect psychotherapy.

The cost of the convention is $50 for the public, $30 for AMCAP members and $15 for student members.
