Our Loving Dad & Grandpa, Bert Hicken Dickson 74 passed away at LDS Hospital on October 1, 1990 after a brief illness.

Born March 20, 1916 in Heber City, Utah to Albert D. and Ruth Hicken DicksonGraduated from Wasatch High School in 1934. Married Jean Fisher in 1941. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Served a machinist apprenticeship at Union Pacific Railroad Company. He later was employed as a machinist at Standard Oil of California, where he worked for over 30 years. He retired in 1979. He was a member of the LDS Church.Survived by wife of Salt Lake City: Daughters: Mrs. Daniel R. (Karen) Bryner, Mrs. Ruth Diane Priest and Mrs. Kenneth D. (Janis) Lisonbee, all of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jack A., Max, and Mrs. Barry (Helen) Nightingale, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lola Curry of Heber City. Preceded in death by 3 brothers: Thomas, Ray & Marvin.

He was a kind and gentle man and we shall greatly miss him.

Funeral services Thursday, Oct. 4, 1990 at 11:30 a.m. in the Holladay 11th Ward Chapel (2065 E. 4675 S., Salt Lake City) where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial Heber City Cemetery. Funeral Directors Olpin Mortuary, Heber City.
