Glenn Everett Edgar, age 72, passed away September 30, 1990 in Salt Lake City, of cancer.

Born June 24, 1918 in Salt Lake to Andrew Clark and Fay Minnie Ferguson Edgar. Married Elva Martin in San Francisco. Graduated from the University of Utah, Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. Recipient of "Skull and Cross Bones" "Owl and Key" from Harvard. Editor of the Chronicle and Humbug at the University of Utah. Member Cottonwood 14th LDS Ward.Survived by wife, Elva, one daughter, Patricia R. Schmidt, Salt Lake City; two granddaughters, Elva Kerr, College Station, Texas; Allison Schmidt-Barson, Boston, Massachusetts; three great-grandchildren, Adriane, Alexander and Nathan Kerr, all College Station, Texas; preceded in death by two grandsons, Glenn Martin Schmidt and Benjamin Duane Schmidt; brother, Gordon Edgar.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 3, 1990 at 11 a.m. at Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment: Mt. Olivet. Funeral Directors: Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary.
