Detectives are continuing to investigate the Sunday morning death of a West Valley man who was shot during a neighborhood fight.
William Broadhead, 2835 W. 2795 South, was shot in the stomach in front of his apartment about 3 a.m. Sunday. Several neighbors in the area were involved in some kind of ongoing dispute that apparently flared into a fight, said West Valley Police Lt. Jim Stroud.Stroud said one group of neighbors appeared to have been aggravating another group of neighbors in the area. All had been drinking before the shooting occurred.
A 16-year-old has been booked into juvenile detention in connection with the shooting.
