A barge spilled nearly 30,000 gallons of a partly refined crude oil solvent after colliding with another ship. Officials said the spill was evaporating quickly Saturday.

"There's very little to clean up," U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Thomas Greene said. "We're letting nature and the effects of the sun and temperature take its course."The Norwegian tanker Bow Panther, lost power Friday and collided with the barges being pulled by a tugboat toward the Port of Houston, he said. There were no reported injuries.
