Dr. Wells Evans Brockbank, 67, died Friday, September 28, 1990 in Payson.
Born on July 28, 1923 in Spanish Fork, the son of Wells Thomas Brockbank and LaReta Evans Brockbank. He married Catherine Lenore Swenson on August 11, 1944 in the Logan Temple of the LDS Church. She died on February 16, 1985. He married Carma Prince on March 12, 1986. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. She died on January 13, 1987. He was a medical doctor in Spanish Fork from 1950 until the present. He was a member of the Utah State Medical Association. He was former Chief of Staff at the Payson Hospital. He served as Mayor of Spanish Fork.Survivors include; three daughters and one son: Mrs. Mark (Kathy) Johnson; Mrs. Dev (Alese) Duke, both of Salem; Dr. Wells S. Brockbank, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Dan (Michelle Prince) Williams, Provo; 13 grandchildren; one sister: Afton Issac, West Valley. He was preceded in death by one grandchild and one brother.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Spanish Fork 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 90 South Main. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork on Sunday evening from 5-8 p.m. or Monday at the mortuary, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
