Audrie May McCashland Kennington, 75, died September 27, 1990 in Salt Lake City.

She was born April 16, 1915 in Salt Lake City to Guy O. and Mary Eliza Wade McCashland. She married Emerson H. Kennington on March 21, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She spent her early years, was educated and lived he entire life in Salt Lake City. She served as a LDS missionary in the Central States Mission from 1939 to 1940. She worked for the Granite School District in the Lunch Program for many years. She was an active member of the LDS Church, served in the presidency of the Holladay Stake Relief Society, as president of the Holladay 3rd Ward, and was a temple worker for 10 years.

She is survived by her husband of Holladay; three sons, Dean and wife Elizabeth Kennington of Sandy; Jay and wife Tamra Kennington, Ogden; Keith and wife Gayle Kennington, Parris Island, S.C.; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 12 noon, Monday, October 1, 1990, in the Holladay LDS Stake Center, 4568 South Holladay Blvd. Friends may call at the MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the MacKay Holladay Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Primary Childrens Medical Center.
