Betty Lou Davis Daz, 62, died Tuesday, September 25, 1990.

She was born December 2, 1927 in Brigham City to Jonathan and Mabel Miller Davis. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1945. She married Dee Leavitt, later divorced. On October 7, 1955 she married Ernie Daz. She was a member of the Care West Mount Ogden LDS Branch. During her life she fulfilled many leadership callings including inservice leader of Primary and Relief Society and was the Cultural Refinement leader for many years. She was blessed with a love for music and a beautiful voice that enabled her to share this love with others.Surviving is her daughter, Mary Lou Steadman, two granddaughters, Kira and Bridgette Steadman, Salt Lake City; also surviving are two brothers, Lamont Davis, Long Beach, California; Dr. Ray Seavers, San Bernardino, California; preceded in death by her husband Ernie and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the Mortuary Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Interment: Ogden City Cemetery.

Though Betty fought a long, hard battle throughout most of her life, she courageously set aside her own obstacles and would show love and concern for all those around her.
