Corinne Wintch Charon, gentle mother, wife, daughter, and sister, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 1990 at the University of Utah Hospital following a brief illness.
Born June 29, 1962 in Salt Lake City to Arden and Lucille Wintch. Married H. Bradford Charon April 15, 1982 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Corinne is survived by her husband and two children, Shylene and Lucas; her parents; in-laws, Hal and Shirley Charon; two sisters, Lori Stander, and Elyse Pearmain; nephew, Nathan Stander; grandmothers, Maggie B. Rowe; and LuDella M. Wintch.
Corinne graduated from Granite High School and was active in Spirit groups, Madrigals, Seminary Council and the Dance Company. She played in the school musicals, and delighted people with her beautiful voice. She danced for many years with Children's Dance Theatre. She attended the U of U and worked at Deseret Federal & Western Savings as well as Dance Wear Unlimited. Active in the LDS Church, she was in the Young Women's programs of two wards. She inspired the youth with her honesty, sincerity, and testimony of the gospel. Everyone who knew Corinne loved her because of her warmth and natural affection. This beautiful young woman will be remembered by family members for her constant outpouring of tenderness to them. The memory of her genuine sweetness will be a source of strength to those left behind.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 East 4800 South. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, at the church, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Mountain View Estates.
