A bomb exploded in the computer center of a Colombian university Friday, causing damage estimated at nearly $1 million.

Alberto Zeballos, secretary-general of Antioquia University in Medellin, Colombia's second largest city, told Reuters several men entered the computer center Friday morning and forced staff to leave.The men escaped and the bomb exploded soon after, before university staff could call in bomb disposal experts.

Zeballos said no one was injured but the bomb destroyed the computer system, used mainly for university administration.
