A Utah State Prison inmate serving time on a drug conviction was given additional concurrent prison terms of five years to life and zero to five years, also for drug offenses, in 2nd District Court.

Arnold E. Sanchez, 31, Layton, pleaded guilty to the cocaine possession and distribution charges in a plea negotiation Sept. 4.He pleaded guilty to a single first-degree and third-degree felony charge in return for having three additional first-degree and two third-degree felony charges dropped.

He was charged with selling cocaine to undercover agents of the Davis Metro Narcotics Strike Force.
