Marina Miera, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died Tuesday, September 25, 1990, at her home.

Born in Alamosa, Colorado, a daughter of Samuel and Fermina Salazar Trujillo. She married Victor Miera, October 1, 1927, in Taos, New Mexico. Their marriage was solemnized in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple, October 1948. Reared and educated in Colorado. Had lived in the Ogden area for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Roy 18th LDS Ward. Had served as organist and chorister. She had served as Sunday School and Primary teacher, and was Relief Society secretary and visting teacher. She was also an ordinance worker in the Ogden LDS Temple.Survived by her husband of 63 years, Victor, Roy; two sons and one daughter, Samuel V. Miera, Salt Lake City; Manuel R. Miera, Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. Lee (Virginia) Mackey, Roy; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Erasto Trujillo, Farmington; Alfonso Trujillo, Price; Beatrice Montoya, San Jose, California; Deloris Harnois, Layton; Margaret Gann, Los Angeles, California. Preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Funeral Services Saturday, 11 a.m., Roy 18th Ward Chapel, 4900 South 2000 West, with her grandson, Bishop Val R. Martin, officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday at the ward chapel, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment: Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
