As the flu season approaches, people over 65, those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes or lung and heart disease, and those who want to reduce their chances of contacting the flu should consider getting a flu shot, according to the Salt Lake City-County Health Department.
The vaccination must be repeated yearly to be effective. The vaccine will be available at the following Salt Lake City-County Health Department immunization clinics beginning Oct. 1:- Salt Lake City Center, 610 S. 200 East.
- Kearns Southwest Medical Center, 5255 S. 4015 West, Suite 100.
- 2100 South Center, 2001 South State, Suite s2400.
- Copperview Multipurpose Center, 8446 S. 340 West.
- 3900 South Center, 3891 S. West Temple.
The fee is $5.
