Lena Frandsen Bartlett, age 83, died September 23, 1990 at the Woodland Park Care Center in Salt Lake City where she had been a resident for the past 11 years.
Raised, and educated in Price, Utah where she was born February 10, 1907 a daugther of Rasmus and Lilly Agnes Bryner Frandsen. Married June E. Bartlett on December 8, 1930 in Price and later divorced. Attended BYU. Served a two-year LDS Northwestern States mission in Portland, Oregon. Served as Carbon County Recorder for two terms (8 years). Moved to Salt Lake City in 1950. Retired from the Utah State Industrial Commission where she was supervisor of Women & Minors Division for a number of years.Survived by a daughter and three sons, Howard Frandsen Bartlett of Senegal, DaKar, West Africa; Marian Bartlett Brinton of Lyman, Wyoming; Dr. James Ronald Bartlett of Oxford, Mississippi; and Richard Ashley Bartlett of Magna, Utah; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ileen Frandsen Zirker of Bountiful, Utah. Preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Funeral services on Friday, Sept. 28th, at 10 am, Larkin Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 pm and Friday, the hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Price City Cemetery at 2 pm.
