Sugar issues, ideas for lowering your sugar-stat will be the focus of the Utah State Extension Service "Lunch and Learn" series, Tuesday, Oct. 9, at noon at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 S. State, Room S1007-1008.

Susan Leefland, a registered dietitian, will present recipes and ideas for cutting back on sugar, artificial sweetener pros and cons, the effects of sugar on health and behavior, carbohydrate craving, and assessing the amount of sugar in the food you eat.Further information is available from the USU Extension Service, 468-3170.
