A 14-year-old West Jordan boy walked out of Little Cottonwood Canyon Sunday morning after spending the night lost.

Brenden Davis and his brother Ray Davis, 21, were hiking in Bell Canyon Saturday morning. They hiked to Lone Peak and began the trek back down about 4:45 p.m. But the duo had different opinions about the best way to return, so they split up at the peak, a Salt Lake County Sheriff's report said.Ray arrived at the bottom about 8 p.m. and was surprised to find that his younger brother had not yet arrived. Search and Rescue volunteers began to look for Brenden that evening with the help of a Life Flight helicopter.

Deputies said the boy found his way out and was found in good condition about 8 a.m. Sunday.
