Salt Lake police are continuing to investigate the weekend robbery at an eastside market.
One of the suspects in the robbery entered the 8th Street Market, 801 E. 800 South, Friday night. He walked up to the counter as if he was going to pay for some items but instead pulled a black gun out of his pocket and held it to the clerk's head, a police report stated.The gunman threatened to kill the clerk and his wife if they did not give him money. The robber and an accomplice then ran off with less than $100. Police said two children, both under the age of 5, were inside the store when the robbery occurred.
