Gayle L. McClure, 57, Sandy, Utah, passed away September 22, 1990 while hunting in Island Park, Idaho.

Born October 12, 1932 in Watonga, Oklahoma to Helen Perry and Richard T. McClure. Married Iris I. Holloway September 10, 1955 in Kimberly, Idaho.Gayle was a lifelong dedicated supporter and accomplished participant in the sport of archery and held many offices on both state and local levels, he was a trophy hunter. He was also an avid hockey fan and enjoyed attendning the local games with his family for many years. Gayle was employed by Motorola as a field engineer.

Survived by wife, three daughters, Cynthia, Sepulveda, California; Tamara Marshall, Pasadena, California; Kathleen, Pasadena, California; two sons, Michael, Kearns, Utah; and Kent, Sandy, Utah; mother, Helen Perry, Sandy, Utah; father, Richard, Filer, Idaho; sister, Bonnie Peters, Hansen, Idaho; and brother, Don, Los Gatos, California; and five beautiful grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at DATUS Archery Club, 7998 S. 1300 W. West Jordan. Donations for the American Diabetes Association are requested in lieu of flowers.
