Orrin Vaughn "Ole" Hansen, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep September 23, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born March 26, 1907 in Darby, Idaho to Hans Peter and Harriet Charlotte Williams Hansen. Married Ethel Snow in 1935, later divorced. In 1950 he married Jeanne Wells. In his youth, Ole resided in Syracus, Utah.He graduated from Davis High School where he played basketball. Owned and managed Hansen Lime and Stucco Co. and later Standard Builders Supply in Salt Lake City and Provo. He was president of Lakeside Lime and Stone, and Provo Lime Company. In his recent years, he has been an avid golfer. Member of the LDS Church.

Survived by his wife, three sons, Michael S. and wife Carolyn Hansen, Salt Lake City; Geoffrey P. Hansen, Hollywood, California; Wallace R. Hansen, Salt Lake City; four daughters and spouses, Jane (Stephen) Bryan, Montgomery, Alabama; Lauri Hansen, Salt Lake City; Sally (David) Johnson, Salt Lake City; Rosemary (Jay) Mitchell, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren: Mandy, Terry, Derek, Josh, Frasier, Illa and Chase, three brothers, Lynn W. Hansen, Show Low, Arizona; Evan W. Hansen, Salt Lake; Terry Hansen, Bountiful; sister, Mrs. Helen Kay, Palm Desert, California; and pet dog "Sara". Preceded in death by brothers: Clyde W. and Fay A. and sisters: Elsie and Ida.

Dad, you had quick wit, good humor, generosity, boundless energy and love for life and children. Your wife, children and many friends and relatives will miss you.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 26, 1990 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So. Highland Dr. where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Mem. Park.
