An armed robbery at a downtown fast-food restaurant netted only small change for the two robbers Thursday night.

Salt Lake Police Lt. Steve Diamond said two men entered the unlocked rear door of a Wendy's restaurant at 562 E. 400 South about 11:35 p.m. and accosted two employees who were cleaning up. The suspects received only a few rolls of quarters for their effort, Diamond said.A short time later, police recovered the getaway car in a nearby parking lot. The car was determined to have been stolen earlier in the night.

The suspects were described as a black male, 6-feet 3-inches tall, with a thin build, and a white male, 6-feet 1-inch tall, with a brown moustache. Both suspects wore stocking masks. The employees were threatened with a handgun during the incident.
