M. Lucile Baxter Cook, 69, died September 20, 1990 from complications following a stroke.

Born September 6, 1921 in Salt Lake City to Ernest and Elsie Harmon Baxter. Married Joseph L. Cook October 2, 1943. Attended SLC schools and graduated from Westminster College. Worked as secretary of El Kalah Temple for 15 years. Active member of Mizpah Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She will long be remembered for all her love and kindness to family and friends.Survived by husband, Joe; four children, son, Larry (Mary) Cook; daughters, Mrs. Mart (Joan) Mirka, Evelyn D. Cook, Mrs. Michael (Mary) Offe; five grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Norma) Lyon, Mrs. Richard (Elsie) Partner.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, September 24, at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 1st South, where friends may call Sunday, 6-7 p.m. and one hour prior to services Monday. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Intermountain Unit of Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children. Funeral directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.
