The Utah Institute for Biblical Studies will begin its fall schedule of religion classes Thursday, Sept. 27.
The symposium offers such subjects as Christian Leadership, How to Help When Someone Is Hurting, Understanding Mormonism, and various classes on Bible study.Weekly classes meet at 232 University St. (just west of the University of Utah). Parking is available behind the Campus Christian Center. Some classes are held at the First Presbyterian Church, South Temple and C St.
Tuition is $31 for each credit hour. An additional non-refundable registration fee of $5 is required.
Tuition may be paid in two payments, and registration will be accepted at the first class session, but preregistration is encouraged.
Students buy their own textbooks. The cost of books should not exceed $50 per course.
