The second class of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce's Business Development Series will begin Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 a.m. and continue for the next eight weeks, focusing on topics to help small business owners succeed.

Scheduled for discussion will be preparing a business plan, form of business operation and registration with government, financing a business, selecting a site, basic bookkeeping procedures, marketing and advertising, hiring and firing and other legal aspects of doing business and use of technology.Registration is $99 for chamber members and $149 for non-members.
