Most people are awed by nature's beauty and by the sight of wildlife. Unfortunately, few have the time to enjoy the sights or know where to go to view them.
To help there is now a "Utah Wildlife Viewing Guide," which points out popular wildlife viewing areas. Found in the book is 92 viewing sites, complete with types of wildlife and viewing tips to proper viewing.The guide provides maps, general descriptions of the sites, directions, the nearest town, site facilities and information on ownership and recreational opportunities.
The new guide is available at most Division of Wildlife Resources offices, the Division of Parks and Recreation, and U.S. Forest Service offices around the state.
Cost of the guide is $5.95. A portion of the price of each book is returned directly to wildlife management programs that benefit Utah's wildlife.
The book was a cooperative ventures between different state and federal agencies.
