Former Murray City Judge Wendell C. Day died Sept. 17 in Holladay of natural causes at the age of 75.

Mr. Day also served as Murray City attorney and was president of the Murray School District Board of Education following his election to the board.Mr. Day was born March 30, 1915, to Elias John and Matilda Miller Day. He married Ina Harris on Oct. 11, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He attended school in Draper and Sandy before attending the University of Utah and George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he earned his law degree. He later served as Murray City attorney before being named city judge.

The funeral will be Friday, Sept. 21, at noon in the Holladay 1st Ward Chapel, 4568 Holladay Blvd. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Thursday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Interment will be in in the Larking Sunset Gardens.
