After last year's attack on the jogger in New York's Central Park, many women are concerned about running safety, reports the Reebok Aerobic Information Bureau. Physician and Sportsmedicine Magazine offers these guidelines for safe running:

-Carry identification and medical information.-Don't wear jewelry.

-Always run with a partner.

-Don't wear headphones and avoid unpopulated areas.

-Run in areas you are familiar with and run against traffic, so you can see approaching automobiles.

-And, always call the police immediately if you notice anything out of the ordinary during your workout.
