Marion Canedo, special project assistant in the U.S. Patent and Trademark office and principal of the Early Childhood Center, Buffalo, N.Y., will be among speakers at a creativity workshop Aug. 1-5 at the University of Utah.

She will speak on Project XL, an "inventive thinking project" that is promoted by the patent office to encourage thinking skills instruction in American schools.The workshop will be in the Nursing College auditorium on the U.'s upper campus. Emphasis will be on developing talents in students and using the spectrum of creative talents to cover required school curricula.
