Citizens' comments are being requested on an Arizona man's proposal to develop two hydroelectric projects in Juab County and sell the power to Utah Power & Light Co.

Michael J. Graham, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., applied to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in May to build the two hydroelectric stations east of Mona at Near Creek and Willow Creek. The town board recently received notice of the application for the $75,000 project. The two stations would connect to the Mona substation via transmission line for sale of the generated power.

Comments on the project can be submitted until Aug. 18.

Those seeking more information on the projects may call James Hunter of FERC at (202) 376-1943.
