Former BYU diver Tristan Baker-Schultz won first place in the three-meter event at the U.S. National Outdoor Diving Championships Saturday in Irvine.

Baker-Shultz, a two-time BYU All-American, scored 512 points to edge 1984 Olympian medalist Wendy Williams who tallied 500 points. Mary Fishbach was a close third with 495.Two-time Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis won the men's 3-meter springboard title, avenging a loss to Mark Bradshaw in the preliminaries 24 hours earlier. It was Louganis' 46th national title, extending his own record.
