The unavailability of a crack sealant may force a delay in the rehabilitation of I-15 between Lehi and Point of the Mountain.

The $3.9 million project was scheduled to be completed in October, but the problem getting the new sealant may force delays in the proj-ect far beyond October. The new sealant is expected to arrive on the job site by July 29.Silicone crack sealant is used to seal joints cut into concrete pavement, protecting them from water and debris. The sealant provided to the project by a subcontractor failed to pass tests.
