As Americans become more health and fitness conscious, having good information on the subject is increasingly important to them.

The American Institute for Preventative Medicine has come up with a booklet that's a little like owning a medical library. Called the "Healthy Life Toll Free Number Directory," the institute's 16-page booklet lists the toll-free numbers of more than 140 health organizations. From dieting to diabetes and asthma to AIDS, the booklet provides toll-free phone numbers, addresses and a brief description of each health organization.

To obtain a copy of the booklet, send $2 to the American Institute for Preventative Medicine, 19111 W. Ten Mile Road, Suite 162, Southfield, Mich. 48075.
