Maintenance work on five Utah roads will cause some traffic interference for travelers during the coming week.

Construction will begin Monday on Mirror Lake Road. A slurry seal coat will be placed on side roads and turnouts along a 6.1 mile section of SR-150 over the summit at Bald Mountain. One-way traffic and delays are expected. On Tuesday, Springville residents who use SR-77 to get to and from work should plan to leave a few minutes early. Crews from the Union Pacific Railroad will begin installing concrete forms in a crossing east of I-15. Traffic will be detoured around the construction for about three and a half miles, and ramps to I-15 will remain open. Construction is scheduled to be completed by Thursday.

Construction will also begin Tuesday on the highway from Francis to Woodland. A guide will be on hand to direct traffic past the paving area.

Wednesday night, 21st South westbound in Salt Lake City will be restricted to one lane of traffic. The exits from the I-15 collector road to westbound 21st South will be closed so crews can repair potholes and pavement damage.
