A Sandy pet store owner, a 10-foot Burmese python and anybody who's afraid of snakes can breath a little easier.

Police located the python named "Malone" late Wednesday at the Salt Lake Hilton. The snake had been missing since Tuesday night when thieves apparently broke a store-front window and took the reptile.

A Hilton customer found the python in an alcove near the main lobby about 10:30 p.m. with a note attached to it that read: "Einstein, I'm tired. I want to go home. Please return me to Sandy All Pets Complex, 9860 S. 7th East, Sandy. Thanks, The Brady Bunch."

Sandy Police Capt. Bob Wright said a large object was pushed or thrown through the store's front window, behind which the snake was housed.

Malone is valued at $250.

Pet store owners said Malone appeared upset by the ordeal but was happy to be back with his owners.
