Dozens of relatives of Palestinian prisoners attacked and slightly injured four Israeli policemen escorting the manacled detainees to a district court in Arab East Jerusalem on Tuesday.

Police said they arrested six Palestinians and sprayed tear gas to break up the crowd that attacked the policemen.

In Nablus, troops shot and slightly wounded two Palestinians when clashes erupted as the army clamped a curfew on the city, the largest in the occupied West Bank, the army said.
