World bronze medalist Holly Cook of Bountiful and national bronze medalist Mark Mitchell will join Farmington's Clay Sniteman and other Utah Figure Skating Club members for "Hot in the City," the USFC's 1990 revue, to be held May 17, 18 and 19 at Bountiful Recreation Center.
Performances are 7:30 each night with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, May 19. Tickets are $14 for a family, $4 adults and $2 for children under 12 and are available from Smith'sTix and the Bountiful Recreation Center. The non-profit community event benefits amateur figure skating in Utah.It will be Cook's first performances in Utah since her third-place showing in the '90 Nationals at the Salt Palace Feb. 17 that made her a part of the U.S. World Championship team. Three weeks later, she placed third in the World Championships at Halifax, Nova Scotia, and then joined the World Team Tour, along with Mitchell. She returned to Utah April 23.
Directing "Hot in the City" is Salt Lake City's Stephanie Grosscup, daughter of former football player Lee. Grosscup appeared in the Home Box Office movie "Carmen" with Olympic gold medal skaters Katarina Witt and Brian Boitano.
