It is wonderful to see that such great work and relief is being done in helping the people of Myanmar.

Glad to be a part of this effort. I was in the video on the left, starting at 1:50, briefly at 2:19 and in the foreground at 4:06. We see cargo every day, but it's nice to know that the stuff we handle is actually going to do some good somewhere.

Unfortunatly the world sometimes sees the wrong image of the LDS Church by its faulty preception of events in Texas and the FLDS Church. If only the world understood the true heart of this church and it's mission of salvation and peace it may not have rejected a one of the best candidates for US President the United States has ever had in Gov. Romney. I applaud the media for showing the world that the LDS Church is always at the forefront when it comes to Humanitarian Aid throughouut the world.
What is even more sureal is the fact that much of this aid is sent to nations and peoples who have outwardly rejected the church and it's missionaries in their attemp to bring love and peace into their nations and people.

I think it's strange to see the name of the church plastered all over the boxes. It seems somewhat vain to me. I've always thought that using crisis for promotional use is wrong. Send boxes without the billboards.

Its good to see organizations comming together to help eliminate some of this worlds suffering. These organizations cannot completley relieve the total suffering, at least they are willing to help.

No job seems to be too small or too large for this church. I am overcome with the love that is shown for the people throught the world no matter where they are. God knows his people, and he sends others to help when they are in need. What an amazing peace we could all feel if we would all look at others without casting any stones and always ready to help.

The name of the church on the box is an essential part of the trust and effectiveness of this effort. The name of the church in many lands is a signal the goods given are not expired, in good order and can be trusted to do what they are sent to do. Unfortunately, some aid agencies send goods donated to them without checking to see if they are useable. The church is wise and has the end user in mind when it puts its name on the boxes of supplies. It is a symbol of quality and trust many foreign governments and relief agencies know they may rely on, allow the goods to get to those who need them.

I bet when you watched the movie Schindler's List, you howled "But he got freeeeee labor!"

The largest words on those "billboards" is Jesus Christ, and perhaps someone who receives part of the shipment will associate His name with something good in this world.

Maybe you want UPS to paint over the logo on the side of their plane as well?

As big as the world is, and as imperfect as we all are, this clip reminds me that we are all brothers and sisters. Thanks for your service Casey!

I am sad that the prominent name of the L.D.S. Church, as it appeaars on the cases of supplies, is offensive to some people who commented. I feel that it is a way of telling those who receive these goods, and are suffering at this time, that there is a loving and concerned God watching over them and inspiring his servants to send aid and comfort to them. I truly do not think that the Church is doing this for promotional purposes, but rather to send a message of hope and faith to others around the world. I know that when I donate to the L.D.S. Humanitarian Services, I do it with love and concern for the welfare of all God's children. I do not send donations to make my Church "look good". I hope others will come to see the L.D.S. Church as the wonderful work of Christ on this earth that I know it to be. God bless you all.

The criticism about the box ID doesn't come across as practical. It's hard to imagine, sending 142,000 lbs of medical supplies, all donated, and someone wants to criticize the I.D. on the box. It is actually mandatory for such items to be identified where they come from when crossing international borders. We ship internationally and that is a must. C.A.R.E. needs to know where the supply comes from as it sits in their warehouses and on their inventory sheets, and incidentally C.A.R.E. puts their name on all the boxes that come from their supply too. Is that really vanity or is that comment motivated by antagonism from someone with an agenda, who won't give credit regardless?
