I'm a college professor and I get papers from undergraduates which have been rewritten by mommy and daddy. Usually it's a mom, and usually she doesn't work outside the home -- and if you want my honest opinion, she needs to find another outlet for her creativity and competitive instincts.
Methinks you harbor some preconceived and unfounded notions and biases. How could you possibly know so much about your students' moms?
They e-mail me to inquire about why 'junior' (herself) didn't do better on the paper.
