I wonder if it is crossing Lindsey's mind that Favors needs to be traded.
He can't help the team if he is not playing, and he is not! I wonder if he
will ever be able to play a whole season.Favors might be good trade
bait for a team willing to take the chance. Still, because of his continued
injuries, the Jazz probably could not get what they need from a trade, unless
somehow he could be traded for a high draft pick for the future. It has been an
interesting season. I hope we get some surprises in getting healthy for the
Exum and Burks on the floor together are a disaster defensibly. I know people
need to rest, but that combo really hurt the Jazz.
Quinn Snyder has been reluctant to get too excited about the Jazz's playoff
prospects. "We're improving, but we're not there yet" is a
constant refrain from him. These last two games are prime examples of just how
right he is.
The Jazz don't have a consistent power forward or a good backup for Rudy.
Trey Lyles and Withey are not the answers. Favors is too brittle. The Jazz
must make good draft picks and open their pocket book for a good backup for
Rudy. Trade favors.
Thanks Jody, I want to know where all the posts in Losing efforts seem to go.
Love to read about the Jazz both good and bad. Too often the comments disappear
and posts as well. My take. The offense sputtered with over ball dribbling by
Hill and Johnson. Love when they play well but, that is not how the Jazz win.
Hayward needs the ball more as he is unselfish and runs the offense. Rudy is
wearing down and Withey is definitely not the answer. Second unit needs
shuffled as they can not play defense and Alex never passes the ball until he
has to. Joel would help this group but with Hood and Favors out the Jazz have
lost scoring and defense. Joe Johnson needs to not start as he gets worn down.
Super in the 4th. Could have used him fresh last night. There.
