Not a martyr. He practiced the Law of the Harvest. He reaped what he sowed.

LaVoy Finicum, was given more opportunity to a peaceful resolution than Eric Garner or Michael Brown. He and his family have no one to blame but themselves and perhaps the extreme right wing folks out there spreading fear and hatred for our Federal Government.

LaVoy Finicum was the spokesman for several dozen occupiers during the 41-day takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. The takeover was an act of domestic terrorism. It doesn't matter your race, income, livelihood, gender, religion, or anything else domestic terrorism should never he acceptable in this country. He is not a martyr for their cause and shouldn't be treated as such. It is a sad loss for his family. But, had he made some better choices starting with not being part of a domestic terrorist activity he would be here today. His family needs to put the blame where it belongs.

Let this be a lesson to you kids - don't try to run over cops and don't reach for a gun when told to reach for the sky.

"LaVoy Finicum was the spokesman for several dozen occupiers during the 41-day takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and has become a martyr for the movement to transfer ownership of federal lands to local entities"

"Spokesman" for "occupiers". How about calling it what it was? Domestic terrorists committing treason.

    ========

    Even at that --
LaVoy Finicum would still be alive today had he NOT:

Not Sworn on national TV that he would rather be dead than arrested,
Not kept flashing his weapons in full view,
    Not sped away,
    Not resisted arrest,
    Not run a police barricade,
Not nearly run over multiple police officers,
Not jumped out of his vehicle,
Not ignored police orders to stop, put his hands over his head,
    Not kept walking,
Not kept putting his hands down,
    Not kept walking,
Not repeatedly reaching into his open jacket we all knew he had a loaded weapon in a shoulder holster,

    Protest all you want --
LaVoy Finicum was given 1,000 times the chances a lack teenage kid in a convenient store would have EVER been given...

Noname, you need to back-up and look at the FACTS. We all know it has become acceptable by conservatives to twist the FACTS to suit their needs.
LaVoy tried to crash a police barricade and steered to the left, endangering a patrolman's life. When he jumped from the vehicle he was told not to move. LaVoy reached into his coat and was shot to death.
LaVoy was shot under the same circumstances as any Black, Chinese, Muslim, White, Hispanic, person.

    Please be honest.

As an accused, labled liberal, I fully endorse a police officer drawing and using his weapon on anyone who proves to be a threat, and dis-obeys commands. Be it an inner city black, or a rural, western, white anti-government protester. Finnecum is dead by his own actions. He would be alive today if he followed police commands.

Isn't it funny. Inner city thugs with long criminal records claim police brutality and the leftists attack the police.

When a rural rancher with no record is gunned down, those same liberals are quick to believe the official account and blame the rancher.

Group identity means everything to liberals as they continue to reject the Reverend King's admonition to judge a man by his character rather than his group membership.

Sometimes really bad things happen when you draw down on law enforcement officers.
