What's the big deal?

Haven't people realized that sex sales? I would be shocked if I didn't turn on the TV or internet to see this.

This country--and world have gone morally bankrupt. It's a shame that the Paris Hiltons, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus' and other promiscuous people of the world are idolized. It wasn't long ago when a single swear word in a movie was considered outrageous.

I fear for the youth of this country. I'm glad and am hoping that there are more good people out there that are willing to speak up.

I like the commercials but to be fair I do not have children to worry about.

Agreed. I get sick to my stomach actually when I drive by a Carl's Jr. if one of the commercial's comes to mind. Others of course think it's a great thing or at least not a big deal. They vote with their wallet. I vote with mine.

I'll tell you how I show my displeasure with their advertising: I NEVER eat at Carl's Jr....NEVER. And yes, it is because of the advertising.

Its' been my experience that the crappier the product - the more companies have to resort to this sort of advertising.

IF their burgers were "anything to write home about" - word of mouth would sell them.

Obviously they're NOT!

I think that the more the owners of this chain hear from those who have enjoyed or purchased their product, but who now don't, the number crunchers they hire will soon be able to tell them just how much they are loosing. Again money can speak. Yes, he needs to be taught morals and many questionable commercials need to be pulled from family-time slots and programs as many shows are, but we also need to back up our opinions, moral and disgust by NOT purchasing their food/products and letting them know why. Maybe with sales plummeting Carl's will die an agonizing commercial death.

I have met Mr. Karcher, the founder, and he was a real decent man. Knowing what he stood for, I believe he would be turning over in his grave with the present advertising the company is pushing. Darn, I love Carl's Jr but will stand with the rest of you in boycotting till they see the error of their ways.

Arguing that there are worse things on TV to worry about is a specious argument. It is like saying that we should stop pursuing charges against bank robbery because there are rapists roaming the streets. One bad does not make another bad okay.

Signs of the times, so much closer for the time of the gentiles to be fulfilled.

We have not gone to Carl's Jr for some time. When their "ads" come on I change the channel. I would never support a group that is using borderline pornography to sell burgers.

I hope many others do the same, and I see the store by my house closed soon....

For anyone to defend this action is repulsive to me. "Sex sells" is a weak justification for objectifying and demeaning women. They deserve much more respect than that.
