The UConn women have won 14 NCAA Basketball championships. The men have won 4 - all in the last 15 years. Amazing! These programs expect to win and I'm sure they will find a way in Football to improve and bring some of that thinking as well.

I expect it to be a good game and test for both squads. BYU's defense tends to do well against the run, but many of our line and secondary are new. This is a great way to keep BYU's profile up in the Northeast where there aren't a lot of big name programs (NFL is king).

BYU has had a decent presence and awareness here since the Kickoff Classic in 1985. I remember then seeing photo's of Robbie Bosco on the cover of the Daily News with readers in the subway. More recently, Jimmer was a big deal with his NY State connections. While we're not a brand like Notre Dame, I'm surprised how many people know something about BYU out here.

We're happy the team is coming out East several more times in the coming years. Should be a big turnout of BYU fans tomorrow night.

Go Cougs!!
