If your playing in a farm system and they do not invite you to a fall league roster.....then you have no future. From much experience, I can tell you that very few (less than 2%) of the player that do not get invited to fall leagues ever see the bigs. It's a crazy business and each team keeps a bunch of right and left handed pitchers in thier farm system just because they need pictures to pitch to thier position players that they see as real prospects. If your a position player and not moving up the ranks year by year or your one of the pitchers that they essentially have around to pitch to position players...you have a choice. Stay in the league, make very little money, get your body beat up, and eventually be shown the door.....or get on with your life. With that said....some do just love the game and making less than minimum wage to play baseball is fun.

Very happy for Jacob. Great all-around play was rewarded with this opportunity. Needs to have a big performance in this fall league to set the stage for his future. The batting average needs to come up, while maintaining his excellent perforance in the other areas of the game. Good luck young man.
