Has this board lost its collective mind? The establishment of a winery in this polygamist country is a recipe for disaster.

The problem here is not polygamy per se, it is the brand of polygamy. The brand of polygamy practiced in Hillsdale is a virulent form that borders on anarchy. Child abuse and other forms of illegal activity are rampant.

Increasing the alcohol supply in a community of near anarchy is downright dangerous. Alcohol abuse is proven to increase crime, and injecting this into an already semi-lawless community will cause crime rates to skyrocket.

And what law would you invoke to prevent these five entrepreneurs from running their business? Here is a hint: There are none.

If they are fully in compliance with Utah liquor laws, which apparently they are, you cannot stop them simply because this winery exists in Hildale, Utah.
